Learn how to move more efficiently, and without injury, using the ChiRunning/ChiWalking technique. Do you want to run, but you're afraid of injury? Do you want to be active, but need a little motivation? Do you want to get fit, and have fun in a supportive group? Then this program is for you! This program is for beginners wanting to walk or run their first 5k, or those interested in getting into an exercise routine in a social environment. The most important part of this experience is being active and having fun! This program includes a weekly, 60 minute group training that will consist of an aspect of the ChiRunning/ChiWalking form, a warm-up, a workout that incorporates a mix of walking and running, and a cool down stretch. Over the weeks, you?ll gradually build up your fitness, stamina and confidence! All levels welcome. Participants will meet at the Milford High School Track flagpole. For bad weather days, the session will be rescheduled.
